Подскажите, как в кустарных условиях произвести тест на пары ртути. Как и какие индикаторы нужно использовать, и где их взять?

Для определения паров ртути в воздухе можно сделать специальную реактивную бумагу. Такими часто пользуются в СЭС (сам делал). Для этого смешивают в стакане равные объемы 10% раствора сульфата меди и 10% раствора иодида калия (по 200 мл). Образующемуся при этом осадку дают осесть и сливают с него буро окрашенный раствор. Осадок промывают декантацией 2-3 раза дистиллированной водой, затем по одному азу 1% раствором KI, 1% раствором сульфата натрия и снова 2 раза дистиллированной водой. Затем как можно полнее воду сливают с осадка, остаток воды отсасывают при помощи фильтровальной бумаги. Осадок переносят в стакан и прибавляют к нему немного этилового спирта до получения полужидкой пасты. Далее при помощи ватного тампона или кисточки наносят ровным и тонким слоем полученную пасту на одну сторону полосы фильтровальной бумаги, сушат ее при комнатной температуре и хранят в склянке с притертой пробкой. Индикаторные бумаги имеют кремовый цвет.. Готовить их нужно в помещении, не содержащем паров ртути.

По идее, с кремового на красный.

Какой предел обнаружения, и как долго идет реакция, как использовать. У меня пол погреба было ртутью залито, ни хрена не сработало.
Может реактивы были конченные конеченные, но мало вероятно.
